Inspired by the rich history of the Glass City, this exclusive ninth annual 2017 limited edition goblet celebrates the Toledo Museum of Art as the birth place of the American Studio Glass Movement. These goblets were designed and hand-made by artist Alan Iwamura at the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion. Each goblet features one of the glass marbles that were originally melted in the 1962 furnace during the infamous workshop conducted by Harvey Littleton and Dominick Labino. Made in the traditional off-hand technique, these goblets are created in a beautiful amethyst glass which complements the subtle blues and greens of each marble.
